Installation and operation instructions for WSJ type new non clogging pulp pump:
1、 Installation
1. Please read the Installation, Use and Maintenance Manual carefully before installation and use
2. The pipe weight must be supported separately, and the pump shall not bear the pipe weight and other torsion
3. The quantity of 46 # lubricating oil shall be close to the two oil level lines of the oil window. The lubricating oil needs to be replaced every 1500 hours of operation.
4. The newly installed reformed road and storage tank shall be cleaned to prevent solid substances from entering the mechanical seal and affecting the sealing effect and service life.
2、 Starting and stopping
1. Preparation before starting
a. Turn the fan blade of the motor by hand, and the impeller shall be free from jamming and grinding, and rotate flexibly;
b. Open the inlet valve, close the outlet valve, and exhaust the air in the pump to make it full of liquid;
c. Turn the pump by hand to make the lubricating liquid enter the mechanical sealing surface;
d. Inch the motor to determine whether the steering is correct.
2. Startup and operation
a. Fully open the inlet valve and close the outlet pipeline valve
b. Turn on the power supply. When the pump reaches the normal speed, gradually open the valve on the discharge pipe and adjust it to the required working condition;
c. Pay attention to the reading of the instrument and check the leakage of the shaft seal. Normally, the leakage of the mechanical seal is less than 3 drops/minute. Check that the temperature rise at the motor bearing is ≤ 70 ° C. In case of any abnormality, stop the machine immediately to check the cause
3. Parking
a. Gradually close the valve on the discharge pipe and cut off the power supply;
b. Close the inlet valve;
c. If the ambient temperature is lower than 0 ° C, the liquid in the pump shall be drained to avoid frost cracking of the pump;
d. If the pump is out of service for a long time, it shall be disassembled, cleaned, packaged and kept.
3、 Pump maintenance
1. Maintenance in operation
a. The water inlet pipe must be highly sealed, without water or air leakage;
b. It is prohibited to operate the pump under cavitation condition for a long time;
c. It is prohibited to run the motor for a long time in case of overcurrent when the pump operates under large flow conditions;
d. Regularly check the motor current value during the pump operation, and try to make the pump operate within the design working condition range;
e. The pump shall be watched by special personnel during operation to avoid accidents
f. The bearing shall be oiled every 500 hours of pump operation;
g. After the pump has been operated for a long time, it is the same as mechanical wear, which increases the noise and vibration of the unit, it should be stopped for inspection, and the wearing parts and bearings can be replaced if necessary. The overhaul period of the unit is generally one year;
h. In case of any fault during the operation of the unit, it can be eliminated according to the methods provided in the following table. If it cannot be eliminated, do not disassemble the unit at will. Please contact our maintenance department or special maintenance point in time.
2. Mechanical seal maintenance
a. Mechanical seal lubrication shall be clean and free of solid particles.
b. It is strictly forbidden to work the mechanical seal under dry grinding.
c. Before starting, the pump (motor) shall be turned for several cycles to avoid breakage and damage of sealing ring caused by sudden starting.
