ZBK series Roots vacuum pump is a kind of coarse vacuum obtaining equipment, which is characterized by high efficiency, small size, light weight and obvious energy saving. Therefore, it has been widely used for vacuum dehydration in papermaking, food, chemical industry, clothing, sugar making and cigarette industry. The suction medium can be dry, wet air or water mixed gas, but the medium cannot contain granular solid substances.

The motor drives the driving rotor to rotate through the V-belt pulley, and drives the driven gear to drive the driven rotor to rotate through the synchronous gear. The two rotors do not contact each other and maintain a clearance of about 0.4mm. The clearance between rotor, pump body and end cover shall be about 0.25mm. During operation, at the lower part of the pump chamber, due to the continuous separation of the two rotors, the volume expands; at the upper part, due to the continuous connection of the two rotors, the volume shrinks, thus completing the role of gas suction and discharge, and creating a vacuum at the suction side, while the exhaust side is connected to the atmosphere and close to atmospheric pressure.
